The Bill Connors Sports Dinner is an annual fundraising event for the Tulsa Sports Commission. The event began as a casual roast in 2001 and has developed into one of the premier events in the community. The dinner is named after the late Tulsa World sportswriter Bill Connors. Each year the TSC presents a "Sportsman of the Year."
