Tulsa Sports Commission travels to annual TEAMS Conference to promote Tulsa

In support of their mission to attract, develop and facilitate amateur sports events, sports-related conventions and other sports ventures, the Tulsa Sports Commission traveled to Las Vegas last week for the 2011 TEAMS Conference.

Senior Vice President Ray Hoyt, Director of Sales Alex Alston and Communications Manager Amanda McConnell partnered with Jessica Floyd, assistant sales manager with the Tulsa Convention Center to participate in the event and promote Tulsa as a destination for over 1,100 organizations and individuals attending the conference.

The team conducted over 30 one-on-one appointments with various sporting groups, governing bodies and representatives.
